Quotes and feedback

  • Her brushwork appears spontaneous and immediate, reflecting the pulse of contemporary life. Yet in her imaginative use of pictorial space, Petra Rader never loses sight of reality.
    Berthild Zierl
President of the Austrian Association of Visual Artists, Vienna
  • Water, swimming and movement form the foundation of Petra Rader’s artistic language. In her monochrome blue spaces, water becomes almost amniotic — a primal element in which immersed figures rediscover a connection to origin and being.
    Flavio Scaloni
Gallery Manager, Galerie Lo Scalo, Brussels
  • Petra Rader is not a young rebel; she is a young, sensitive soul.

  • When I first encountered one of your works, I was immediately drawn to the deep blue tones and the quiet scene in the pool. Swimming and water have always been places of solace for me. Your paintings reminded me of the calm and strength I find in those moments of weightlessness underwater.

  • „LIONED“ combines an emotive animal portrait with a raw gestural painting style that recalls neo expressionism. Collectors who appreciate edgy figurative works and street art influences will be drawn to the lion’s character and the striking chartreuse background. The emotional energy and unique colour choices have to be highlighted.
    Alex Colard
Senior Curator & Gallery Director Charity-Art-Gallery, Stockholm, Sweden
  • „Freischwimmerin“ is an elegant work that captures both the beauty of movement and the expressive power of water. Its large format intensifies the visual impact and creates a compelling presence.
    Flavio Scaloni
    Gallery Manager, Lo Scalo, Brussels
  • Your paintings bring me immense joy. The colours and the sense of movement are truly captivating

  • In „Freischwimmerin“ I sense a strong, positive energy — the courage to leap into the unknown, toward new shores. Reflections of water blur the boundary between reality and illusion.
